Reckon GovConnect Overview
Reckon is committed to reducing complexity for businesses. As part of this commitment we have developed, and continue to develop, Reckon GovConnect applications that are Standard Business Reporting (SBRTM) enabled.
Reckon GovConnect – Activity Statement lodgement is available now. This application simplifies Activity Statement lodgement, including BAS and IAS.
What is SBR™?
SBR is an Australian Federal Government initiative aimed at reducing the burden of red tape for Australian businesses. The SBR program has been responsible for developing a common reporting language to make submitting forms to government agencies quicker and more effective.
SBR has been designed by Australian government agencies in partnership with software developers, business and their accountants, bookkeepers, tax agents and payroll professionals.
Reckon has a long-term commitment to the development of Reckon GovConnect applications that give customers the opportunity to take advantage of the time saving benefits of SBR.
It is expected that SBR will save Australian business an estimated $800 million per year once fully implemented.
